Welcome to our website.
The Center for Law and the Humanities engages lawyers and law students in study and discussion of the humanities. It inspires inquiry and reflection upon the deeper meanings of lawyers' lives, their work, their shared community, and service to the ideals of a just and humane society.
Our retreats, local bar programs, law school and law firm seminars, and other specially-tailored programs are designed to engage lawyers at all levels of the profession with the unique and profound lessons offered through the humanities (e.g.,history, literature, philosophy, religion).
We invite you to learn more about us, tell us of your interests and support our work to renew the profession. Join our growing community of lawyers, judges, and legal scholars dedicated to making the law more humane for all.
